{ week 2/52 }
The 4 year old comes to me and says “Mummy can I please help you in the kitchen?”
The mushrooms might be chopped in odd sizes, the egg might have egg shells in it which I hate to scoop out and there might be water spilled on the floor and countertop because he was washing the vegies and fruits but I’m not going to fret about those silly little things and just let him be my little helper.

Beautiful light in your kitchen. I love the exploration of cooking, there are so many things to be learnt from it. My son has learnt the word stir and always asks to stir whenever I’m cooking.

Gorgeous photos! They look so well behaved and helpful. It’s great to teach cooking (and washing up) early 🙂 x

Thankyou! I bought my boys a play kitchen when i discovered that they love to help me out in the kitchen but they obviously didn’t find it as much fun as being in the real kitchen 😉

Oh my gosh — I’m drooling over these beautifully captured photos! So gorgeous. And what a special, special moment for you to have captured. I have yet to have my 4 year old help me in the kitchen, but you’re motivating me to get a move on.
SO glad to have found you from I Heart Snapping’s link-up. Simply beautiful.
